So I thought I’d try taking photos of the lunar eclipse. After all, I’ve got a camera, a nice view of the sky from my porch, and the patience to try, so why not?
Well, since this is really only my first time taking photos of the moon at night with my camera, I wasn’t very good. But still, I think I did all right. You can see the rest of my eclipse photos here.
Next time I’ll have to work on keeping the camera still during the whole time so I can do one of those neat multi-exposure star-trail type things. Oh well.
I think its an excellent photo, the red looks wonderful. I missed the eclipse this year due to mist and it was 3am here but have watched one a couple of years ago, stunning
