Christmas Spirit

Okay, I’m better. I’m feelin’ the spirit here, folks.

I did my Christmas shopping today – in about 2 hours – at the Searstown mall (which isn’t called the Searstown mall anymore, it’s called something else!). And as for the tree situation – someone at Amanda’s work gave her a 3′ fake tree (with lights) after hearing that we had no tree, saying that we “had to have a tree.” So, we’ve got a tree – which I put up today 😉

In other news, last night some people dropped by – it turns out the house was being shown, but the real estate agent didn’t notify anyone in the house about it. The potential (and probable) new owners are very nice – I spoke with them at length about the house, the shape of our apartment, and other things. I even looked at the apartment in front of mine (which is very nice, but unfortunately not any larger and therefore not worth the effort of moving). So, that put me in a good mood – the thought of having owners who are actually around when you need them, and who actually want to take care of the house.

So, once again I’m in a good mood. Tomorrow I’ll be out & about all day, as you’d expect, but you can expect a full report on Sunday. Until then – Merry Christmas everyone!
