At this very instant

At this very instant, I know that my whole existence has been so that I can take this deep breath of warm air, feel the last rays of the sun touch my face, and relish the warm evening breeze. Everything else just fades away in comparison.

The sun, slouching on the hills, ready to slip below the trees, and crawl around the world, to pop up bright and early to shine in my face again.

Everything about this moment speaks to me of peace. The air is warm, and I can feel the sweat on my skin, but nothing can distract me from this feeling. Everything, in this very instant, is perfect.

And as the light of day finally slips away… I’m still smiling.
