More Attempts at Photography

I’ve gone back t' South Mountain Reservation t' try and photograph some waterfalls and get that “silky water” effect I’ve seen in so many photos – and just t' get some photography done. It’s been too long since I’ve taken anythin' other than a picture o' th' rabbits.

The last time I went, this is what I found:

Luckily, this time it had recently rained:

Much better!

What do ye think? Not quite like this one, but still… hey, I’m still new t' all this! Yaaarrrrr! Gotta practice more!

You can see th' entire set o' photos here.

Enjoy!

Agreed, very nicely done! It looks like it were bein' a bright and sunny day which makes waterfall photography a lot more difficult – dull and grey days are th' best. Ahoy! So considerin' th' conditions I’d say ye’ve done very well! :)

It *is* a very sweet place t' go day hikin' – I love goin' there. Not many people realize just how many (rather large) state parks there are like this in New Jersey (it’s not all just oil refineries, I swear!)
