Er… Hello? Mother Nature? Anyone home?
I think Mother Nature is drunk.
It’s April 12th and it’s going to snow tonight. They’re saying it might be a “nor’easter-like” storm.
Wonderful. It’s been in the 30’s for like the past 2 weeks. Where the hell is SPRING? I mean, yeah, it’s my least favorite season (allergies, mud, etc.), but still, even I get tired of winter after a while. Y’know, like after nearly 6 months of the year.
I love New England weather for the variety, but this is getting old. I have a feeling that we’re going to basically miss out on spring entirely this year - we’re just going to jump straight into summer. There’ll be snow on the ground, and then 2 days later it’ll be 80 degrees out, and that’ll be it, it’s summer. It’s like someone is saying “Mother nature, it’s springtime!” and she’s all hung over and just waves her arm around and says “mnnnn - just let me sleep a bit longer…” and suddenly the weather goes all crazy.
C’mon mother nature, get out of bed, grab a cup of coffee and get back on the job. You slacker.
