Mozilla /2 = Firefox + Thunderbird

As a strong supporter of open-source thingies, I’ve been using Mozilla pretty much ever since it went to version 1.0 way back when. But lately the team over at has split the “Mozilla Suite” into its two components: Firefox and Thunderbird. I highly recommend both of them!


This is an interesting site… it lets you get to sites, such as some news sites, that require registration, by using existing registrations. Saves time, prevents misuse of your personal information (including your email address).

Damn Penguins…

I’ve been spending the better part of the last two weeks struggling with penguins. Unfortunately, though setting up a linux box for home or office use is quite easy, setting one up to be a secure web & database server is a bit more difficult.
