The BBC reports that following approval from the BBC Trust they are now allowed to release their ‘iPlayer’, enabling the download and viewing of BBC owned content. Unfortunately the Trust also mandated the use of DRM to enforce a 30 day playable period.

Yes, I’ve finally changed the theme of Core Dump. It’s been a long, long time since I last changed the look of this site, and I figured it was time for a change.

While I’m on the subject of desktops (the visual kind, anyway), I suppose it bears mentioning that I finally upgraded my display.

The other day I stumbled across this great utility from John’s Adventures called (appropriately enough) John’s Background Switcher. Let me start by saying: this is a great program!
