Power Block

Current mood: Revved Up

Currently listening to: Spike TV’s “Power Block”

I’ve gotta stop watching Spike TV’s “Power Block” lineup on weekends. With shows like “Car & Driver,” “Horsepower TV,” and “Trucks,” it can only lead to dissapointment. I mean, these shows end, and I just wanna go out and rev up the car and race somewhere, or go off road, or buy a turbo kit and install it, or something!

Man, I guess it’s like they say… “I am my father’s son,” and if there’s a “car” gene, I must’ve got it. Or maybe it’s just the geek in me, who loves to tinker with machines. In any case, I’ve got plans for the Keithmobile-D… now I just have to wait until I can afford it!! 😉

On a somewhat unrelated note, I did some “Scoutlanding” the other day, and checked out a spot that my friend Tom had told me about. It’s up Route 12 a bit, out of Fitchburg, heading north (although by the compass I think I was heading west – gotta love the US highway system). There’s a break in the guardrail about maybe, oh, 5-10 miles down from West Fitchburg, where Route 12 splits from Route 2A – by a place called “Once Upon a Tile.” Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to go Outlanding there, because it had just rained the other day, and the beginning of the trail is through a field and then what appears to be a stream. In other words, it was a bit too muddy for me. But maybe I’ll be able to check it out again later this fall, when things have dried up a bit. We’ll see.

That’s all for now, sports fans – see you next time. Over & out.
