Well, I got here all right, but the connection with my flight in SFO was so tight (due to delays in & out of Chicago) that my luggage didn’t make it on the plane with me. OOPS! Can I just say, I’m not going to be going out of Chicago again if I can help it? NOT an efficient airport!

So, we’re booked on a new flight from Boston to Chicago to SFO. The thing is, with the switchover in Chicago, we no longer have a 4-hour period between flights in SFO – we have 2 hours. And Amanda is worried about missing flights – understandably so; it’s happened to her before. But I remain confident – barring mechanical breakdowns of planes, we should be fine.

So, I get home from work at 10:30, and the phone rings. It’s American Airlines calling me to let me know that my flight out of Boston tomorrow has been canceled. Great.

Well, this is kind of late notice to all my loyal(?) readers, but… I’m off to Australia tomorrow. I’ll be gone for a whole month – but fear not! I’ll have net access, and will be blogging about my adventures along the way. So it should be interesting!
