• Goodbye Stanley, We’ll Miss You

Gus and I learned this morning that Stanley over at the Houseful of Rabbits has passed away. This made both of us very sad, until we remembered that Stanley is now doing binkies on the other side in the endless fields of grass and clover, where the sun is always at just the right spot in the sky for playing or napping in the shade.

Goodbye Stanley, we’ll miss you, but we’ll see you again someday!!

  • Monday Bunday… from dad?

Dad beat us to our “Monday Bunday” post.

    Thanks a lot, dad.

  • Betsy and the Temple of Doom

betsy and the temple of doom

Between dad and the scary vacuum cleaner, I had to find a place to hide… so I did!

So then I climbed on top of a mountain and saved the day!

    I’m soooooo brave!

  • I Like The Box

This box-tunnel that dad made is pretty fun! Though once I saw him filming me, I had to put on a suitably disapproving face.

Gus is always trying to get in the picture. He’s such a camera hog!

  • Thinking Inside the Box

Some people say to think outside the box – but I do my best thinking inside the box:

  • Found another great Bunny Blog

Dad found us another great bunny blog – this one’s called Furrybutts.

Betsy likes it – they have a lop-eared bunny that looks like Betsy, only without the black spots (just brown spots).

  • I Want to be a “Rock Bun”

I want to be a rock bun. No, not that kind of rock bun – I mean a “rock and roll bunny!”

Yesterday I was practicing by thumping on the floor in dad’s office. He wasn’t being very supportive – he kept telling me to be quite and stop thumping. So I thumped some more!

Eventually he came and chased me around the house a bit and then picked me up and put me on his lap while he worked. I did NOT like that. His lap is all lumpy and not comfortable or safe-feeling AT ALL.

Finally he let me down. I guess I will have to practice my thumping at night!

  • Another Use for Lop Ears

Sometimes my lop ears can be a pain in the neck – I can’t aim them the same way Gus can, for instance, to hear things better. But Gus found another way they can be useful – as eye covers:

    ear flop

I suppose I don’t mind – they’ve gotta flop somewhere, and they might as well flop on Gus’s face.

  • Send It Back

Sorry dad, but this carrot is much too dry.

    carrot in water

Hmmm, what’s that? I’ve already eaten most of it? Oh, well, yeah, I had to do that so it would fit in the water bowl, of course!
