Sometimes my lop ears can be a pain in the neck – I can’t aim them the same way Gus can, for instance, to hear things better. But Gus found another way they can be useful – as eye covers:
I suppose I don’t mind – they’ve gotta flop somewhere, and they might as well flop on Gus’s face.

my dog lakota would put her head under the bed so it’s dark enough to sleep so i bet she’d love to have your ears cover her eyes so she could sleep 🙂
Gus is a tough guy with a soft heart just like our Baxter!
All of a sudden, I wish I had flop-ears like that… wait. Nah! Too hard to wash under them!
