I just heard dad make an appointment for Betsy and I to “board” at the vet for the week when he and mum will be out-of-town.
I don’t like the sound of that!!
It’s bad enough to go to the vet for a little while, never mind staying there for a whole WEEK!
I asked dad if we could stay home instead, but he said that smart as we are, we still would need someone to feed us. I said “what if I found someone to come feed us” and he said “if you can find someone trustworthy, then OK, you can stay home instead of going to the vet.”
So… I’m asking any other buns out there… if you know of a good rabbit-sitter somewhere in… let me see… what did dad call this place… hmmm… “Morris” or “Union” counties in New Jersey… that could come and bunny-sit us, let me know!! I don’t want to go to the vet!!

Tell him you want to go to the spa instead. It’ll be fine. Really. No boards, just good food and ear rubs!
We use a pet sitter and she is really nice and gives me lots of yummy treats! But Richmond, VA is a little far away for her to come by! My mom says you may want to give your local rabbit rescue (if you have one) a call and see if you can find a bunny border or sitter. Mom used to bunny sit all the time in FL at her rescue!

It’s OK. At least the word is spreading through the bunny-grape-vine. Mmmm… grapes… which become raisins… YUM!
Oh dear ….not the vet!! We can feel for you Gus boy, and being at the other side of the big pond does not help….however, mum said that if your parents come to pet sit us for a week in October, she will fly over to pet sit you 🙂
Wouldn’t it now be nice if we had one of those teletransportation cabins to jump in and be at the other side in just a few instants?
We are way on the left coast of the continent, so can’t help. Check out your local rabbit rescue organizations, sometimes they offer rabbit sitters or might know someone. Even so I think if you spent a week at the vets you would win everyone over and the office favorites. This translates to extra treats…..

We had Friend of the Animals watch us when RG and BL went away for a couple days and it was great! But she, and we, are also too far away .. dang … Maybe you need to speak to those 2-foots there about their travel priorities … could one go for 3 days and then the other???

hey guys, We live close to that morris county border but our mommy always works late. When she goes away, she makes her sister (our auntie) come over every day. But she has thought of maybe one day using a professional pet sitter. We would hate to be at the vet too! Wouldn’t it make you feel better and safer if you stayed home? Ask daddy for a pet sitter!
Ohhhhh! We hope you find someone to come to feed you so you don’t have to go to … that other place! Deb says we live all the way across the country, otherwise we could help!

Hef wants you to know that sitters aren’t always what they are cracked up to be! We went to NYC for 5 days and left him with his grandma. We called on Friday to check and got “OMG I forgot!” MY POOR BUN! We came home on saturday and it didn’t look to me like she even fed him then. I know Hef gave her a lot of thumps and foot flicks and not long ago he peed on her nice couch as revenge!
Poor guys! If only teleportation were for real, then you could come visit us for a holiday in Sweden!

Heya , does someone know decent dog sitting carriers site ? I’m considering this 1 though my hubby and i had been curious about if anyone are familiar with any similar ones.
