• Vacuum

Dad vacuumed in his office today. Betsy managed to escape, but I was trapped under the chair – oh but the vacuum is so loud and scary!

Eventually I was able to escape, though.

I came back in later and I guess we had left a lot of hair on the floor… and bits of cardboard that we’d chewed… so I guess that’s why dad vacuumed. But still, he could’ve let us know before he started, and given us a fair chance to go and hide!

My dad made this video of Betsy and I doing some grooming the other day.

  • Closet Fun

A while ago, the bedroom door had been left open, so Betsy and I went in to explore. We also found that the closet had been left open, so we explored that, too. It was fun – there was this shoe-rack-thing on the floor that we could squeeze behind, under the hanging clothes, all the way in the back – and nobody could see us! Perfect!

At least, it was perfect until mom & dad started looking everywhere for us. Eventually they found us in the closet, and we had to get out. But it was a fun place, so we remembered it.

Today, my dad left the bedroom door open for a few minutes while he was doing that weird “shaving” thing, and Betsy and I took advantage of it! We snuck in, right under his nose! He didn’t even notice us when he came in and closed the bedroom door. So we hung out in the closet for a bit… until dad realized we were gone and came looking for us. By now, he knew where to look – and he found us right away.

Still, Betsy and I didn’t want to leave the room – we hardly ever get to go in there! So he was trying to get us to leave, but Betsy and I had decided to stay. So we ran around his legs and kept running back and forth around the bed, avoiding the doorway.

Unfortunately, dad was… persistent… and eventually he chased us out. You’re no fun, dad!

After all that excitement, I got a bite to eat, used my litter box, and came back into dad’s office and plopped down on  his chair. I was a little upset with him for chasing us out, but it was kind of fun, while it lasted!

  • Gus Got In Trouble

Gus doesn’t want to talk about it, but I will. This morning he was chewing on the back of the chair in dad’s office – a big no-no! And dad heard him and came over and saw him.

Gus did what I would have done – froze and hoped that daddy would go away – but daddy wasn’t happy with Gus. We’re not supposed to chew things in daddy’s office that aren’t made of cardboard.

So dad reached down to shoo Gus away, but before he could get close, Gus bolted. He knew he was doing something wrong – I told him he shouldn’t have done that!

I have a feeling that Gus isn’t going to get any treats today. I warned you, Gus!

UPDATE: Oh dear. It seems I couldn’t resist chewing that same spot, once Gus had started it. But it had those threads hanging down… it was just too good. I think we’ve both upset daddy. He went and put a box behind the chair so we can’t get there anymore. Oh dear, oh dear…

  • Up late with dad

Last night, my dad stayed up really late with Betsy and I. It was fun to run around, knowing he was watching us. I ran as fast as I could all the way across the house, just to impress him. But you’ve gotta play it cool when you’re done – just act natural, like it was no big deal that you sprinted at full speed across the whole house. So I nibbled on the grass mat after I did that.

I’m pretty sure my dad was impressed.

  • Moving Furniture

My dad went and moved the chair in his office yesterday… while I was still under it!

I don’t mind having stuff moved (it’s nice because you have to explore it all again when it changes) but… not while I’m under it!

I gave him a foot-flick on my way out of the office, for good measure.

  • Mmmm, Papaya Tablets

My dad bought some papaya tablets again. Mmmm… they are my favorite! Even better than dried cranberries or banana!

    Thanks, dad! Yum!

  • Please Don’t Steal Bunnies

We just read this story about how 3 bunnies were stolen from a New Jersey home. We felt so awful. Who would steal a bunny, let alone 3? And apparently we live in New Jersey now, as well. (All states look pretty much the same through bunny-vision.)

Betsy and I agree on this one. Please don’t steal bunnies. If anyone knows anything about these 3 bunnies, please let the owner know. I’d like nothing more than to hear about how they got back home safe & sound.

  • I Can’t Believe I Never Found This Before

I can’t believe I never found this before. Or, rather, that my dad & mum never found this before. It’s a show called “Rabbit Bites.” It has two rabbits who sort of look like Betsy and I – one lop, and one regular bunny (but not white). It’s very, very funny! I enjoyed watching all the past episodes over the weekend with my dad.

Oh, and my dad said something about it being easier to watch the episodes in “iTunes?” I dunno. I just love watching other bunnies on TV!

  • I’m not mad, just sleepy

My dad says this would make a good entry for “Disapproving Rabbits,” but I wasn’t mad or anything. I was just sleepy from the nap I had been taking!
