The other day, I found that I could push on the edge of our enclosure and get the fence to swing out enough to squeeze through – freedom!
So the other night (well, early morning – dad and mum were sleeping in), I did it and Gus and I escaped!
Dad leaves the bedroom door open at night, so we snuck in – but he must have ears like a bunny because he heard us and chased us out!
When he found out how we’d escaped, he said:
“She’s like a raptor – she was testing the fences systematically for weaknesses…
…she remembers.”
Of course now he put something heavy by that edge of the enclosure, so I can’t push it out anymore.
But I’ll find another way – I’ll keep testing the fence, and I will remember any weaknesses I find!

Ahem , Betsy, Gus, may we suggest that NOT going into the bedroom (where Mum and Dad are) would prolong your well deserved freedom.

Avoid the humans if you want to stay free. Ask me how I know this…
Freedom is just around the corner…all you have to do is find the weakness! (and stay out of the humans’ bedroom!)
Amen B and G. PS … when do we see pix of your guys in that new big condo?? Or, have you chewed it up already???
That fence is no match for brains and brawn like yours!
P/S: That’s a marvelous condo your dad built! You’re such lucky buns! Is it still standing? 😀
Smart bunny!! xD
