Happy Valentine’s Day, Gus. And all other bunnies everywhere!
p.s. Thanks, Dad, for your help with the picture!

My favorite spot is on top of this white box in dad’s office. I love to flop out there and take a nap in the middle of the day.
Sometimes though, you have to flop over to get a good angle for grooming your paws and your ears.
Long ears like these require lots of grooming to keep them looking beautiful!
Gus is usually near by on “his” chair. But in this case I think he was jealous that I was getting all the attention!

Everyone seems to be taking pictures of their fridges lately. Dad thought this would be a fun thing to do, so he took a picture, too.
Honestly, I think it would be better to be IN the fridge, rather than looking at a picture of it. Though looking at this picture, I can tell that mom and dad need to go shopping for us soon!
-Gus

I don’t mean “bad” as in us doing anything bad, but as in “taken with a low-resolution cell phone camera.” As in, dad took them when we were blocking his access to his regular camera.

We were just hanging out in the hallway one night and he thought this was interesting. Seriously, dad, it’s just us.

Who is that rabbit in the mirror… oh… it’s me. Very funny, dad.
-Gus

Well, it’s not quite a TV show, but it’ll do, I suppose.
I always enjoy my morning carrot.
But I don’t necessarily enjoy having my picture taken while my mouth is full!
Gus, on the other hand, doesn’t mind at all.
All done, Gus?
I’m not sure I like the way this picture makes me look… dad says that this is my “half moon” pose. Whatever you say, dad.
And of course, after breakfast, I went to see if we could get under the bed… sadly, no such luck. But I’ll keep checking every day!

Uh oh… it seems like we got a little too enthusiastic about being under the new bed. I guess we chewed on some things that dad didn’t want us chewing on… and we’ve been banned from under the bed. There’s a weird make-shift gate-thing going all the way around the bed now, and we can’t get in.
Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

This afternoon some strangers came into the house for a little bit, and when they were gone, Gus said he saw something new in the spare room - I came out to look with him, and wouldn’t you know it - there was a new bed there! Just like the one we used to hide under back in our old house!
Needless to say both Gus and I explored the underside of the new bed quite thoroughly. I couldn’t believe that mom and dad would buy a bed just so we could go under it, but Gus said that it looked like that’s what they did. There were no sheets on it or anything - just a mattress and a box spring.
When mom got home, she thought I was so cute she came and took some photos of me. I guess she was just happy that we like our new bed. I certainly do!
That’s me, under the new bed. I love it!
Hey, wait a minute!
Mom, what are you doing?
I thought only dad took photos?
I’ll let it slide this time, but no more photos of my behind!
Thanks mom and dad!

It’s no secret that Betsy and I love getting into the bedroom. But lately we’ve found an even better place - the bedroom closet.
Mom keeps something she calls a “shoe tree” or “shoe forest” in there - I don’t know why, it’s not real trees or anything - but it is dark and there are narrow passages and it’s the perfect place to hide!
The first day we got in there, mom and dad couldn’t find us! We heard them searching all around the house for us, looking and looking, until finally mom spotted us.
The last time we got in, dad took these photos:
I must admit that it was Betsy who first discovered this great hiding place.
I followed her in quickly.
Aw drat, I’ve been spotted!
Dad says I’m actually very hard to see when I’m in there.
So now whenever we get into the bedroom (which is rare) I always go and check to see if the closet door is open. Unfortunately the last few times we’ve been able to sneak in, it’s been closed. Oh well - our time will come!
