Dad showed me this commercial, but he said “don’t get any ideas.”
I can’t imagine why.

Dad thought it would be fun to chronicle a “day in the life of Betsy.” So he did. But not with my help!
Is it morning? Do I have to get up?
Oh, you say you’ve got treats? Well then I might come out.
BUUUURP! That was a good breakfast, dad. Now get out of here! I’ve got important business to attend to!
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz……
Well, I made it into your office. Time for another nap.
…And another.
You can never have too many naps.
After some serious self-grooming, I think I deserve a nap.
Why yes, that is my fur. I like to keep my napping places smelling like me!
What a busy day! Thanks for dinner, dad. I think I’ll lay down with Gus now for an after-dinner nap. Oh, it’s the end of the day? Sweet! Now I can go to bed!
Goodnight!

I had a bad fur day today. Dad said I looked very “shaggy.”
It wasn’t my fault – Betsy and I had been in a little tussle last night and I hadn’t had time to groom myself properly.
Of course, it didn’t help that dad ran the vacuum cleaner today (which scares the whiskers off of me), and then… he picked me up and brushed me!!
When he was done he put me down and tried to give me a treat – a papaya tablet (my favorite). But I properly rebuffed him by ignoring the treat (I ate it after he left the room though).
All in all, not a great fur day.

Gus and I enjoy our time out of the “bunny jail” each day. Of course, dad is not allowed to come out of his office while we are here!
Later on, of course, it’s time for a nap.
Although dad always listens to his music in his office while he works, we like it in here, because he pretty much always leaves us alone.

My friend Potter inspired me to do some climbing of my own today!
Dad looked sooooo surprised when he came out and found me up there!
I was enjoying chewing on the top of the box. It made a really satisfying “riiiiiip!”
But now that dad’s here, I’d better play it safe and get down.
Whew, what a rough day! So much climbing, I’d better take a rest.

Gus and I learned this morning that Stanley over at the Houseful of Rabbits has passed away. This made both of us very sad, until we remembered that Stanley is now doing binkies on the other side in the endless fields of grass and clover, where the sun is always at just the right spot in the sky for playing or napping in the shade.
Goodbye Stanley, we’ll miss you, but we’ll see you again someday!!
