Well, it was bound to happen. I caught the flu. Actually, both Amanda and I caught the flu, at basically the same time (I caught it one day after she did).<\/p>\n
And man, was it a doosey<\/em>!<\/p>\n It left us both floored with medium-high fevers for nearly a week. My fever is gone, but I’m still coughing and my nose is still blocked up. I tell you, it was bad, bad, bad. I don’t wish that flu on anyone else!<\/p>\n So, if you were wondering why there were no posts this week, it’s because I was literally out of my mind with a fever and cold medicine. Here’s hoping I feel better soon!<\/p>\n Oh, and just as an aside \u2013 I’m trying out posting to my blog with Word 2007’s new “Blog Post” feature. It seems to integrate with WordPress quite nicely \u2013 we’ll see how it comes out in practice, though.
