Well, it is done. My new computer arrived and in less than 3 hours I’ve got all my files transferred over and all my programs installed. Not bad for an afternoon’s work!<\/p>\n
All in all I’m very impressed with this new PC. It’s fast – though you would expect that – and very responsive. It’s also nice to have the added features of Windows XP Media Center, though I’ll better appreciate those features once I’ve got a 19″ flat-screen display (which is in the works).<\/p>\n
For now, I’ve got some work to do – although all my data & whatnot transferred over, all my programs are disorganized and scattered across a huge start menu – and that simply will not do<\/em>. Time to be anal retentive and organize it all!<\/p>\n Ciao for now!<\/p>\n Edit:<\/strong> I should probably mention that it turns out that I did in fact get a Pentium 4 (with Hyper-threading) as opposed to the cooler and more technically advanced Pentium D for which I had been hoping.
