I have a sign on my door which reads “Do Not Disturb: Hacking In Progress. This door is closed for a reason. If your business is urgent, please knock and wait for me to answer.” Typically, if my door is closed it means I’m doing some “hacking,” that is, I’m doing some intense programming that requires all of my concentration. Typically my phone will be set to “Do not disturb” mode as well. <\/p>\n
Well, one day a few weeks ago, someone (I won’t mention names… though I know who it was) put a replacement sign on my door. It still said “Hacking in Progress,” but at the bottom instead of “wait for me to answer,” it said “wait for me to answer, which I will do with the ultimate disdain for humanity<\/strong>.” Which of course is entirely accurate.
