What is it about this post<\/a> that attracts so much comments spam? Almost every day I have to moderate a new comment as “spam” for that post. What’s so special about it?<\/p>\n

You wouldn’t think it, but comment spam is a big problem – and not just for me; it’s a big problem for many bloggers, especially the higher-profile ones. A few automated scripts is all it takes to flood your blog with crap comments that contain misspelled names of drugs, links to poker sites, and porn. <\/p>\n

Thank goodness WordPress<\/a> has good controls for managing comments – and comment spam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
