This<\/a> is the sort of story that sends me into fits paradoxical rage. “Take of my shoes”<\/em>, indeed!<\/p>\n

When will people realize that this is STUPID and doesn’t help anything? Just because one person had a bomb in his shoe DOES NOT mean that now EVERYONE needs to have their shoes checked! <\/p>\n

Just try following that logic a bit further. Assume for a moment that in order to get on a plane, security screeners would have to check everything <\/em>that anyone <\/em>had ever used to hide\/hold a bomb.<\/p>\n

We’d all end up going onto planes naked, after having a full-body x-ray and full cavity search. <\/p>\n

Now, I don’t know about you, but I’d<\/em> rather not have to go through that every time I want to board a plane (and, eventually of course, trains, buses, ferries, etc.). <\/p>\n
