The Volokh Conspiracy – International Law and the First Amendment<\/a><\/p>\n

I saw the word “hegemony<\/a>” and instantly I was thinking of Ender’s Game<\/a>. If you haven’t read that book, you may not understand, but let me see if I can lay it out for you:<\/p>\n

Hegemony is the dominance of one group over other groups, with or without the threat of force, to the extent that, for instance, the dominant party can dictate the terms of trade to its advantage; or more broadly, that cultural perspectives become skewed to favor the dominant group.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
