I went out last night, of course, in the middle of it all, just to see if I could. And I could. It was fun! I love AWD!<\/p>\n
An update on the pipes: the bathroom pipes are fixed, though it took all day to get them fixed. Then, when the water was turned back on, we found that while the water was turned off for repairs, the kitchen sink pipes froze. ARGH!!! So that’s out of comission at the moment while we wait for the plumber to arrive on Monday. Of course, a heater was supposed to have been delivered & installed on Friday for the downstairs (empty) apartment, which would have prevented all of this from happening, but… well, that’s Murphy’s Law for you, I suppose. Anyway, not having a kitchen sink I can deal with for a few days. Not having water in the bathroom… that’s not so good. <\/p>\n
Well, I’m about to go venture into the storm. If you’re snowed in today, you have my sympathies. And if you’re snowed in and need a ride, well, maybe you should give me a call! \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n
