I have a couple of Stephenson&#8217;s books &#8211; they are all amazingly amusing, perhaps because the narrative always sounds like something I&#8217;d say (or think).<\/p>\n<p>This is a long article, so be prepared for it &#8211; but it&#8217;s well worth it.
