Core Dump

I’ve gone back to South Mountain Reservation to try and photograph some waterfalls and get that “silky water” effect I’ve seen in so many photos – and just to get some photography done. It’s been too long since I’ve taken anything other than a picture of the rabbits.

The last time I went, this is what I found:

I swear, I’ve seen more wildlife since coming to NJ than I ever saw back in MA. I’ve seen deer, giant praying mantises, and some crazy birds that I can’t identify.

Who’dve thunk it?

I saw a rainbow early this evening. It was quite impressive – it spanned a full 180 degrees.

Sometimes, you just have to take the time to appreciate the simple beauty in the world.

I wanted to do something special for the 20th installment of Desktop Madness, so I’m posting a few new (and great) wallpapers all at once – shocking! Also, I’m going to point you to a great site for beautiful wallpapers called The Luna Regina. Enjoy!

Just for fun, and to contrast my work environment, here’s my desktop from home.

It should be noted that while I use Windows XP at work, I still use Windows 2000 at home. Of course, they tend to look the same once I’ve had my way with them. I hate the XP visual style.
