Current mood: Tired

Currently listening to: The sound of my humidifier

Some more loot I forgot to mention: a super-kewl new 52x CD burner. Yahoo! I can burn at more than 4x… FINALLY! It only took me… 3 years…

Also a wicked cool wine rack, which means that I actually have a place to store all the hidden alcohol in my house… and a place for all that stemware!

As an aside, someone has been complaining to me that I just whine & bitch & moan about how awful my life/job is on this “diary” (as this particular person referred to it). I would just like to set the record straight - I said that I had to stop complaining or else I’d change the name of this blog to “Keith’s Angst-O-Rama.” Unfortunately, if I didn’t have anything to complain about, this would be a very boring blog. But, in the interests of SOME readers, I’ll try and keep the “Angst” factor as low as possible. MMMKAY?

Actually… anyone who reads this is welcome to try out my courier job for a year and see how they feel about their life after that long. (Or maybe not - I don’t want to get anyone committed to a mental hospital or anything.)

BLARG.

Yeah, I just needed to get that out.

Did some fun Outlanding the other day with my good buddy PJ - who’s back from Colorado!! Got to explore some of the nooks & crannies of Sutton, and catch up, and eat pizza. Fun!

I have decided, however, that working two jobs has basically caused me to have no life. Which is most definately NOT fun. Outside of this computer here, an online forum or two, and this blog, I basically have no contact with anyone … which is sad. Hopefully this will end soon (by which I mean the “working two jobs” bit). Hey, it’s a new year, right?

Speaking of which, where the heck did 2003 go? *sniff* And I never really got to know it very well…

The Christmas Marathon

authorKeithius | December 26, 2003

Christmas for me is typically a “driving” day. To my mom’s house, my Aunt’s house, and my Dad’s house, it’s a long day, with a lot of time spent on the road. It’s a little exhausting at times; next year I think we might just say home. ;-)

Christmas was good this year, I can’t complain (I didn’t get stuck trying to get home like last year). I got some very nice shirts & sweaters, some DVDs I had wanted, some great books, some Red Bull & other energy drinks (sweet! caffinee!) and a cool new humidifier for the apartment (it’s about time; it get SO dry in here during the winter).

We ate just the right amount of Turkey & fixin’s … had some of Amanda’s famous Plum Pudding… and took some cool pictures. Rock on.

Now it’s time to relax… I don’t get enough vacation time, so I’m going to be enjoying this “weekend” off. And that means spending less time at the computer, too. So that’s all for now, folks! Stay safe and enjoy yourselves!

All I Want for Christmas… …is SPAM

From midnight last night to 9am this morning… 22 pieces of SPAM email. Merry christmas to you too.

More details on the “real” Christmas day later. Happy holidays everyone!

I’m not dreaming of a “wet” Christmas

authorKeithius | December 24, 2003

Well, the day’s been quiet so far, but it doesn’t really “feel” like Christmas Eve. And the rain doesn’t exactly help either.

My friend Dave hit the nail on the head when he said “The only good thing about the crazy work schedule is that it helped to make the year fly by.” Unfortunately, in addition to making the year fly by, it seems to have made Christmas into “just another day.”

Well, Merry Christmas to you all, and have a great holiday.

This is Keithius, signing off (for now).
