Holy Crap - It’s Autumn!
Mother nature seriously needs to get a new alarm clock or something. Maybe a fancy new PDA. (Or maybe she’s got a PDA, but doesn’t know how to use it.) In any case, this is getting crazy.
On Monday it was 90 degrees (F) on my porch during the middle of the day.
Yesterday it was supposed to get up to 80. It only got up to maybe 68. Today isn’t looking any better.
Everyone around here (myself included) had been complaining that it was time and past time for autumn-like weather to begin. It had been very, very warm lately - mid 80’s in October. That’s just not right.
And then it just changes, literally overnight. WTF? I thought this sort of crap was only supposed to happen in New England.
Argh. Well, at least it’s cooler out now and I can stop running the air conditioning! My guess now is that in 3 weeks it’ll be snowing. And then we’ll have another week of nearly 70 degree weather… in January.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, enjoy the weather, wherever you are.
