I’m Not Lazy!!
Dad says I’m a lazy bun – that all I do is lay around the house and sleep.
I don’t know what he’s talking about!

OK, so maybe I do sleep a bit… but it’s only natural. After all, I lead a very busy life! I need to rest often!

A guard rabbit needs lots of rest (and it’s important to look like your sleeping when you’re really hard at work listening for the sound of food!)

Your Dad is weird … like cats … Gus. If you were running around and chewing and pooping and biting his ankles .. well, do you think THEN he would think you were an OK rabbit? ……..
We have this book and in there it says Rabbits are OK … period.
We rest our case. And, now, ourselves .. all that laying around has made us sleepy.

it’s true. you must be tired, look at all those times you are:
-cleaning up the salad mess left by your dad
-keeping a seat warm for dad
-shredding paper for dad
-checking the floor for soundness so dad doesn’t fall through
-looking adorable so dad can take pictures…
really, he shouldn’t be so ungrateful!
