I can’t believe I actually watched rabbits eat the leaves off parsley for four minutes! I must be nuts. Oh, I have rabbits, of course!

Heh, I can’t believe I spent 4 minutes (actually more, but I cut that bit out) filming rabbits eating the leaves off of parsley! I also must be nuts… oh, no, I just have rabbits too

Wow, I feel like I’m underfeeding my bunny. I give them greens and pellets in the morning, and half a carrot at night. Of course they have unlimited amounts of hay. What do you feed your rabbits in the morning?

Breakfast & Dinner are the same around here: whatever dark greens we can find at the store that week (usually romaine lettuce, red leaf lettuce, and kale) plus parsley, a carrot (broken in half, so there’s no fighting), and 2 Kashi crackers as a “treat” topping.
There’s always a big bowl of hay on standby, though the buns are spoiled and sometimes don’t want to eat their hay (sorry Gus, Betsy, but you guys ARE spoiled)… and there’s a bowl of pellets that I usually keep topped off, but not always.
I will be the first to admit I spoil my buns… but they’re also not “small” bunnies, either. Gus is a nice steady, healthy 7 pounds, and Betsy (although she will hate me for mentioning her weight) is 6 and one half pounds.

Wah! I’m glad I’m not the only one sweet-talking my Sammy Wabbit! He likes it, though; he visibly purrs when I coo to him sometimes. I just found your site, and I’m glad I did! Great Blogging, Keith!
